Emilio Pérez
Emilio Pérez was a Honduran man from La Ceiba and the husband of Camila Pérez. They were the parents of Adelina and Jorge. In 2050, Emilio’s request for help led the family to relocate to Baltimore so Adelina could receive specialized neurological care from Logan Weston.
Adelina’s Medical Care

Adelina experienced increasingly violent seizures and declining mobility despite consultations with seven neurologists. Emilio and Camila sold their car and then their home while seeking effective treatment.
In 2050, Emilio emailed Logan in Spanish after hearing of a doctor who listened and did not give up. He described Adelina’s deterioration and the family’s exhausted resources. Logan requested her scans and records, worked through medical translator Luisa Menéndez, and identified atypical focal epilepsy with neurosensory hypersensitivity during a virtual consultation.
When the medical team in Honduras resisted Logan’s treatment protocol, the Weston Clinic, Reverie, and donations from the band covered the family’s travel, housing, and treatment in Baltimore. Emilio and Camila accepted the offer and relocated with both children. The family moved into a furnished home secured by the clinic and began Adelina’s treatment under Logan’s supervision.
